Resolving concerns fairly, respectfully and — wherever possible — informally.

Purpose

The Avebury Tribe seeks to resolve concerns fairly, respectfully and informally wherever possible.

Most disagreements can be resolved through discussion.

Making a Complaint

Complaints may be submitted through the website or by email.

Complaints should include:

  • Name of complainant.
  • Description of the issue.
  • Relevant dates and locations.
  • Supporting evidence where available.

Complaint Handling

Upon receiving a complaint:

  • Receipt will be acknowledged.
  • The matter will be reviewed.
  • Relevant parties may be contacted.
  • A response will be provided where appropriate.

Possible Outcomes

Outcomes may include:

  • No further action.
  • Informal resolution.
  • Mediation.
  • Warning.
  • Temporary suspension of membership privileges.
  • Permanent removal from Avebury Tribe platforms.

Malicious Complaints

Knowingly false or malicious complaints may themselves be treated as misconduct.

Appeals

Where appropriate, a request for review may be submitted if new information becomes available.
